Every conversation is a source of vocabulary. Log what you learn from each crew member and use it in your next session with them.
Start with a central word or theme. Branch out with related words, colours, and associations. The more personal you make it, the better you'll remember it.
For each word you struggle to remember, create a mental anchor — a sound-alike, a visual image, a personal memory, or a chunked breakdown. The more vivid and personal, the stronger it sticks.
